Hi, I’m, Alice, in my second week of isolation at home in our apartment, with my husband, “The Writer”, in the centre of London. Here in the city, the Covid-19 numbers are higher than in the rest of the country – we host a third of all UK cases as I start this blog. We are lucky in that we lead a comfortable middle-class life, unlucky in that we are in the target group for the worst outcome if we were to get it. This blog is my diary of what it feels like to be locked down in our capital city. If the vaccine is 18months away, as predicted, we’ll be here for quite a while. Thought you might like to know how it all plays out.
It’s pretty scary. If this diary stops suddenly, you’ll guess why…………..
